Small, reddish purple flower heads have long, oval creamy white bracts that flutter in the breeze and resemble white doves sitting on a branch or dangling white handkerchiefs. Hence the common name. Very colorful and my poodle liked the ball. It didn’t last 1 week. Horrible quality and not worth the money. My dog destroyed ball as soon as I turned my back. Would return it if it was in a returnable condition
